TOGETHER WE GROW
2026 WOMEN IN FARMING SEMINAR
The 2026 Women in Farming Annual Seminar in Kojonup brought 130 women from across the agricultural community together for a day of connection, learning and inspiration. The event was hosted by the Women in Farming Board with the support of the Kojonup Branch.
The seminar featured an engaging line-up of speakers who shared their knowledge, experiences and perspectives on life and work. Information delivered assisted attendees to not only increase their knowledge around farm business practices but also the opportunity to network and share their ideas with others.
Along with our event partners and organisation sponsors, the event was supported by the South-West WA Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hub through funding from the Australian Government's Future Drought Fund. This support assisted us in bringing keynote speaker Julian Moore to WA. Julian is recognised as one of Australasia's leading experts in the practical application of Artificial Intelligence across corporates, government, associations and the non-profit sector. As well as presenting AI practical information for women involved in agriculture, Julian along with the help of AI, delivered us a very catchy song all about women involved in farming. It's worth listening to!
Speakers on the day delivered many take-home messages on topics about weather, access to education for rural families, a beef business doing it differently, use of low cost technology to assist in running the farm office, agricultural robots for crop production, changing life roles, rural connections and the importance of them and some down to earth legal information around every day life events.
Thanks to everyone who contributed their time, knowledge and resources to another successful Women in Farming seminar.
